Red Cabbage and Cheddar cheese pie
Red cabbage goes surprisingly well in pies. This slightly sweet, slightly peppery and creamy pie is a nice and quick way to make treat. This recipe uses a pre-made puff pastry, so you don't even need to struggle with having to make a pie dough yourself - and let's be honest, when it comes to pie dough, it's alright to take the easy solution now and then.

How to make it
-
Cut the red cabbage into thin slices. Pre-heat the oven to 200 C.

-
Place the ready-made puff pastry in an oiled ovenproof pie form. Add the cheddar cheese into the frying pan, and mix well.
-
With a fork, make some holes in the puff pastry. Pour the mixture on it, and spread it evenly with a spoon.
-
Bake in the pre-heated oven at 200 C for about 20 min. Serve warm.
